Students are provided with bus transportation to and from school. Most routes require from 20 to 45 minutes to operate. It is crucial that each bus stays on schedule. Both parents and students should be aware of their bus route number and animal. Students should be at their bus stop 10 minutes before the bus arrival time.

Students are to ride their assigned bus home from school. In the event of an emergency situation, please notify the office in advance to arrange alternate transportation.

When parents are away and children are staying with another family or a situation arises, the office staff will be happy to make special accommodations. These special requests should be put in writing by the parent. Please be aware that some bus routes are filled to capacity, so it is necessary to make advance arrangements.

Students who ride the bus have certain responsibilities for the comfort and safety of other students, as well as themselves. Students who fail to follow the simple guidelines and regulations set forth by the bus driver in the beginning of the year will be subject to the disciplinary action listed below. Serious infractions may result in the immediate suspension of riding privileges at the discretion of the school administration.

First offense: warning to student, notification to parent.

Second offense: letter to parent notifying of possible suspension of riding privileges.

Third offense: letter to parents and three-day suspension from bus.

Continued offenses: additional suspension from 5 days to permanent.

***Serious infraction may result in the immediate suspension of riding privileges at the discretion of the building Principal.
